I’ll say something like “this being an inclusive/diverse space for LGBTQ+ & BIPOC is important to me” And like clockwork, a white queer person will say to me “we’re *so* LGBTQ+ diverse!” as if I didn’t say the second half of my statement. As if that is all that mattered. (2/8)

I’m not the most established person in the industry. I’m queer & disabled myself. But I still have white privilege. So I do what I can to platform & uplift Devs/Creators of Color whenever I can. And I get frustrated when I see other white queer devs just seem to not care. (4/8)

@shardsofblue And also this about horrible people’s weight. So often, like with Tr/ump, instead of bashing what actually makes him awful, they would just make fun of his size and like, he isn’t going to see that, but fat people who see your tweets will. Neither gender nor size are a “gotcha”.
