100% Can’t understand the obsession with attracting internationals. Apart from the inordinate number of breakdowns, they do nothing to boost betting turnover as the Aus public is not familiar with their form and if they win, prizemoney goes offshore & is not reinvested locally.

@jstewartrr @inglis_sales If you want your horses to actually be trained by the trainer (as opposed to a foreperson in a mega stable) go to a small-medium sized operation. Hands on trainer with a personal service should be priority, particularly for your first venture into the Australian market.

You have to commend RNSW’s initiative to develop the sport in recent years but prizemoney has become too top heavy. Most participants are not going to see the benefits of these changes. It’s been said before but maidens should be priority no 1! Product > size of carnivals
