The Government has just voted to increase the cost of home heating fuels through a carbon tax hike in May. This will only put pressure on already hard-pressed workers and families. Another example of just how out-of-touch this government is. Disgraceful!

Home Heating Oil has increased by 127% in the past year. 1/3rd of homes use Home Heating oil as the primary way to heat our homes, rising to 2/3rd of homes in West and North West. Governments big plan = push the price up further in 3 weeks time by raising tax on it = MADNESS

It’s a national scandal that AIB makes €1,600,000,000 profit and pays no tax and won’t for 20 years. This is obscene. Deal done with banks by FG/Lab government to pay no tax needs to be undone.
