The time is right.
But Roberto Firmino is a certified Liverpool FC legend.
He won everything. Currently sits 18th on the list of all time scorers, sandwiched between Kevin Keegan and John Barnes. Names he deserves to be alongside.
Hopefully he gets the send off he deserves.
Regardless of what happens this is only the second year in the history of Liverpool Football Club where we’ve done the Double over Everton and Manchester United in the same season.
The other was 2000/01. Pint please barman.
Liverpool F.C. and Everton F.C. have massively let down their supporters and the city today going along with that £250K pay off for Scudamore.
Both clubs should be ashamed being so out of touch with the people and area which has homed them for over 125 years.
Friendly reminder that
@mayor_anderson
let the Liverpool half marathon go ahead on 15/3/2020.
The weekend after the Atletico Madrid game and Cheltenham races.
Don’t buy his concern about gatherings. He doesn’t care.
This is mental.
Barca and Real have won 16 of the last 19 La Ligas.
PSG have won 6 of the last 7 Ligue 1 titles.
Yet, Liverpool being 13 points clear, and chasing their first title in 30 years has made him question the manner of dominance.
Not even won one yet.
Liverpool's incredible run is both proof of their brilliance/intelligence and proof of a growing problem in the game.
It doesn't happen without super-club wages, in what is becoming a pattern.
It is worthy of huge praise and concern
Hope the club invite him to games alongside Kenny and Rushie when you see them in the Main Stand.
He clearly regrets what happened and has apologised on numerous occasions.
Hope to see him at Anfield soon.
"I'm a Liverpool supporter... I've always been."
Sven-Goran Eriksson tells
@skynewsniall
he "always wished to be the manager of Liverpool" - and says he thinks England can win this summer's Euros.

I don’t think there’s anything better than being stood in the Kop, and watching a lad from Liverpool get in the first team and score a goal for Liverpool.
We all dreamt it.
Unreal.
Some fucking space cadets have dived onto Liverpool.
Glad my little section of the Kop is full of normal arl baldy scousers who call baldy refs baldy twats.
🗣️ “They put the schedule the way they did which is a bit unusual but it is what it is.”
Mikel Arteta says he isn’t pleased with the Premier League’s scheduling of playing Wednesday evening and Saturday lunchtime. 😤
They should do one of these at Anfield each summer.
Hard enough getting kids into the games this would be a boss day for the kids during the summer holidays.
I think people who asked “what does Gini Wijnaldum do?” Might actually now start to realise.
They were so focussed on goals & assists yet failing to spot his ability to play 35+ games whilst breaking play, turning over possession, filling in for full-backs and stopping breaks.
Liverpool are too open this season and a lack of solidity and control is costing them points. The protection from the midfield isn’t good enough.
Key decisions went against them in the capital but they were their own worst enemies.

Long time followers will all be pleased to know that Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mané and Roberto Firmino are all finally in the top 20 goalscorers in Liverpool Football Club history.
Love him more than all three.
Man carried us to a European Cup final, scored the first goal in another.
The other three had unbelievable spells, but only won one league cup between the lot of them.
Salah all day for me.
This is never being beaten.
So lucky that 24 hours earlier I was in the Atatürk stadium, but still managed to get back home in time to be at St George’s Hall for this.
Comfortably the best 48 hours of my life.

Hopefully, people see the context things were spoken about in.
Not easy talking about the past. Nothing any of us can do about it.
We have to keep striving to be a better version of ourselves…

Lads, although many lessons have been learned, a difficult season has come to an end. I would like to thank you all for the support during my recovery and the entire team in every match!
I’m sure next season will be even better and with more celebrations.
See you next season!❤️🙏🏻
"I'd rather give it to Duncan [Ferguson] until the end of the season." 🤔
"He's not going to play five at the back!" 🤞
We caught up with a few Everton fans as Frank Lampard looks set to be named as Rafa Benitez's replacement - here's what they had to say...⤵
Nah, football is about your first game being a fixture no one else wants to go to. The type of game you’ll hate as an adult.
I’m thinking early round of a cup, or a European team we’ll never face again.
Yet still being amazed and want to go back for the rest of your life.
I’m gunna giveaway a ticket for the FA Cup final to someone who’s never been to a Liverpool game but supported them all their life cause THAT’S WHAT FOOTBALL IS ABOUT
Next thing you know the Blues will stick a jail on their badge, play a siren before kick off and run out to a theme tune from a police tely programme. 🥴
Salah, Firmino and Mané are now all in the top 40 goal scorers in LFC history.
I reckon they could all be in the top 20 by the end of the season.
For them all to make it they’d all have to all go past 83, Salah would need 12, Firmino 17 and Mané 22.
Worth noting to the weirdos who have somehow changed this song to “He came from Barça to Liverpool..” that it was and always will be “He came from Barça to bring us joy…”
Me trying to justify Liverpool becoming a state owned sports washing corporation after slagging our rivals for the last 20 years for being state owned sports washing corporations.
I’m not sure Nike know what they’ve let themselves in for. Just been the Liverpool shop at Anfield and not an infants kit to be had on the first Saturday after release. All these promises about getting the kits in places all over the world - maybe start with L4.
Oh fuck off.
As if anyone who went would want a refund.
Watched us get slapped numerous times over the years and never once thought “I want my money back.”
Wanted him to do well so badly.
Those driving runs in his early days were what we’d lacked for years. Always looked absolutely made up when he scored as well.
Hope he finds somewhere he plays regularly & stay injury free. Left with a heavy medal collection & played his part.
Still a bit annoyed at Sky sticking us at 8pm on New Years Day just so they can stick Carragher and Neville in a studio and call it Monday Night Football.
Would it really have been a big issue to put it at 2pm, 4.30pm or even 5.30pm?
Absolute stinker of a time. Happy 2024.
People moaning Bayern Munich would only be selling Ryan Gravenberch if they didn’t rate him.
Thankfully, I’m old enough to remember when they flogged Dietmar Hamann who went on to be one of my favourite ever players.
Newsflash - not every player suits every football club.
