Much love to @Twitter employees. The drama in the company was recurring and not at all a surprise in the early years of the company. Most folks who were there then (like me) love the product and the company dearly and are proud to have been associated with it.

One big use case for me in @TezbyGoogle has been to pay to any AccountNumber+IFSC in real time. I used to dread doing that via netbanking what with wonky bank websites, having to wait for a beneficiary to be added and inability to do outside working hours. Now 24x7 and real time!

If you are semi-technical, I'll recommend starting with Satoshi's original bitcoin whitepaper - it is just 8 pages, a joy to read and introduces the main concepts really well.

Very rarely do I find strongly disagreeing with @naval ’s wisdom. But universities like Stanford et al are all about the amazing people (colleagues, friends, faculty etc) you meet, get to know, learn from and inevitably will run into throughout your life.

Given that the main function of universities these days is filtering and signaling, the best move is to get admitted to Stanford and then drop out.
