'CAC is guaranteed to rise'. Wrong. If appeal of your product lessens with scale, this holds true. DTC: low initial CAC, gets worse over time Marketplace: high initial CAC, improves Rising CAC can always be counteracted through product improvement/adjacent market expansion.

Founders beware of this advice It's always better to start with a the great product with less-than-perfect distribution. Learning to optimize distribution is much easier than building an exceptional product. Recipes exist for growth, breakthroughs have no set formula.
