That’s one male arrested in Lisburn on suspicion of damaging his ankle tank by trying to cut it off, breaching his bail, and assaulting Police Officers, after he decided to throw a tin of paint over us, set a dog on us, and gouge one officer’s eyes.

We can sadly confirm that the body of a woman was recovered from the River Lagan in Lisburn on Monday, 1st April. A post-mortem will take place in due course.
Social distancing doesn't mean not being able to work together.

Police Officers, a Paramedic & Mental Health Practitioners, working as part of the Multi Agency Triage Team (MATT), attended a report of a suicidal male. Entry was forced to an address & the male was found unconscious inside. He was brought to hospital & is in a stable condition.
As you slept, South Area Burglary Team patrolled the District; all in an effort to keep you safe. We seized numerous cars, with one being linked to a criminal gang. We also arrested a male who had warrants.
We’re out there 24/7 trying to stop criminals from doing what they do.
A male has just been arrested on the Saintfied Road, Castlereagh for numerous Burglaries/Attempted Burglaries & Possession of Class A Drugs.

Off duty officer 1st on scene at fatal RTC leaving a young mother dead & a baby girl fighting for life.The officer extracted the baby and administered first aid,whilst identifying witnesses & directing uniform responders as they arrived.All whilst still a probationer!

Lisburn Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team conducted another property search yesterday in Moira in relation to drugs, locating a quantity of suspected Class A, B and C Controlled drugs as well as a hand gun and ammunition. All now off the streets and 2 arrests made.
We have arrested four people on suspicion of theft. Our officers stopped a vehicle on the M1 and a search recovered over 100 new toys and items of children's clothing - all suspected stolen.

Lisburn Neighbourhood Policing Team were clamping down on ASB tonight at Lisburn Leisureplex. We will not tolerate youths spitting at staff, setting off fireworks or verbally abusing members of the public. A number of youths have already been identified.

After the driver of this car almost collided with us, checks showed that the colour of the fuel in this car matched the colour of the car. It's been seized for Customs to deal with - the driver can expect a hefty fine.

Lisburn City Neighbourhood Team called in with Little Rays nursery in Lambeg today to talk about road safety and about our Policing role.
The kids thoroughly enjoyed getting to ask us questions, learning about the Police car and getting some freebies to keep them safe.

Turns out the driver didn't have insurance or a driving licence.
It's been seized, the driver has had to walk home and he'll have a trip to court in the future!
We have charged a male with robbery following a report of a man in his 80s being assaulted at the Derriaghy train halt in Lisburn on Sunday, 14th August.
Whilst out on patrol this evening Lisburn City Neighbourhood team seized one vehicle for no insurance, we have recently been issued with laptops that enable us to do the vast majority of paperwork whilst remaining out in the local community and keeping officers on the ground.
Lisburn Rural NPT are working in collaboration today with Woodbourne NPT, Roads Policing Unit, Police Dog Unit & Police College NI.

Following a post-mortem examination, the Police Service of Northern Ireland can confirm that a body recovered from the River Lagan in Lisburn on Monday 1st April, is that of 52-year-old Paula Elliott.

Following a half hour pursuit starting in Lower Ballinderry, travelling through Gawley’s Gate and ending up in Dundrod, a driver has been arrested. He continued to drive after being stung by a stinger device twice, and ran off when he knew the game was up; but he didn’t get far!
Lisburn City Neighbourhood Team had a social distanced meeting with the Hill Street residents group today, providing pizza kits and Easter eggs for the children of Hill Street. We are looking forward to things hopefully getting back to normal soon.

After a short chase with this car, & the driver jumping into the back of it to try to hide the fact that he was the driver, it's been seized.
The driver had only bought the car 2 hours ago for £300. He also didn't have a driving licence. He'll be reported for numerous offences...

Officers on foot patrol came across a suicidal male on the wrong side on the rails on a footbridge over a main road. Building a rapport,1 officer got close enough to get a chance to grab hold of the man, saving his life.

Driving an HGV, during rush hour traffic, outside a primary school, in a 30mph zone and whilst reading a text message is a dangerous recipe for disaster.
Driver subsequently issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice. This now includes 6 penalty points and £205 fine.

This evening, the Lisburn Rural Neighbourhood Team received some time critical information in relation to illegal Drugs.
As a result, we were able to obtain a search warrant for a property in the Lisburn area. During the search, a quantity of suspect Class A Drugs were seized.
Following a Robbery in South Belfast at 8pm this evening, were a car was stolen, three males have been arrested. They were detained after the car crashed in the Castlereagh area.
All three males have been taken to custody where they will be interviewed for a number of offences.

Mill St in Lambeg area of Lisburn closed and number of homes evacuated following discovery of suspicious object and reports of loud bangs in the area. No reports of any injuries at this time and people area asked to avoid area as examination of object is carried out.

Motorists are advised the Sprucefield Roundabout at Lisburn has been closed due to an overturned lorry causing a fuel spillage.
Please avoid the area and seek an alternative route for your journey. Diversions are currently in place.
Officers arrested 18 alleged stalkers in Lisburn and Castlereagh over the last two years.
We want victims to feel confident reporting, knowing that the law is on their side.

The Paramilitary Crime Task Force (PCTF) conducted a number of searches across Belfast, Hillsborough and Millisle today, Tuesday, 13th April 2021, in an coordinated search operation assisted by officers from the local Neighbourhood Policing Teams and Tactical Support Units.

We will be conducting regular checks of Warren Park following complaints of vehicles parking on the footpath and obstructing junctions close to the Salto Centre
Any vehicles found parking illegally will be dealt with by Fixed Pentalty Notice if repeatedly parking in this manner
"I've only had a few shots" - The response given by a driver who we stopped, after we saw him speeding through Lisburn.
After a quick breath test, he blew over double the drink-drive limit.
The result; A night in a cell, a trip to court in the future and a lengthy driving ban.
