If you have PLAYED DS1 to the end, you will understand. Cliff is a character who played a very important and special role in Death Stranding. Mads understood this and performed it beautifully. Mads' Cliff will remain in the story of Death Stranding and in your memories forever.
I wonder if there was a 2017 blockbuster that specifically warned against the dangers of this and tried to shift the vibes around franchise media into something new
"Deadpool & Wolverine is the latest in a long line of 'meta-blockbusters' weโve received over the past decade or so, and itโs one of the worst examples yet."
After this weekโs

youโre gonna see a lot of rightful praise for Skarsgรฅrd and Serkis but Genevieve O'Reilly takes her only scene and delivers a devastating character beat with no words at all. In a single shot, her Mon completely unravels and itโs perfect.
Amandla Stenberg via Instagram Stories (9/10)
"It's not lost on me how the way that these events have unfolded. It's also due to the hyper divisiveness of the time that we live in that is driven I would by echo chambers of thought and algorithms that reinforce our biases."
Never seen a company so desperately averse to new fans and ideas. Craven, myopic commitment to the worst kind of Star Wars consumer and another win for slop.
EXCLUSIVE: The story of โThe Acolyteโ will not continue, with Lucasfilm opting not to proceed with a second season of the โStar Warsโ offshoot starring Amandla Stenberg, sources tell Deadline
Turning the Jedi into martial arts warriors is an inspired way to refresh the choreography of the franchise and then filming it so you can actually see and feel the flow of the fight? Levitating.
In this exclusive very first clip from Star Wars: The Acolyte, Jedi Master Sol (Lee Jung-jae) battles Mae (Amandla Stenberg), a dangerous warrior from his past:
This is fucking repugnant, even for them. If youโre even remotely serious about covering games this has to be the moment you take the gloves off. I donโt want to see a solemn Spencer on Kinda Funny. I canโt do another round of Xbox shaped merchandise. What the fuck are we doing.
A prominent fan creator watching

and confidently claiming that the passionate young revolutionary is as ideologically dangerous as the fascist is pretty much exactly why itโs taken so long to get mature Star Wars.
We used to get posts like this all the time in the TLJ years. An audience engaging in fun theorising because it trusted the art to reflect that energy back at them. Their absence was emblematic of Star Warsโ incuriosity and their return is a welcome sight.
Are they freaking called Mae and Sol because of music theory? Is he the 5th note in the scale, the perfect fifth, while she is the third, the one that usually falls to create a minor chord/scale?
The disproportionate number of Content Creators in the replies indignantly demanding to be paid by a publisher for their Content because itโs marketing is such a fascinating mask off moment for an industry that thinks critics getting paid at all is a conspiracy.
Daniel Craig will gladly keep the

franchise going without an end date: "If Rian keeps writing them, I'll keep doing them. It's easy. He's such a wonderful writer. It's there on the page for me to do."

Leslye Headland took one look at the heat Rian Johnson got for turning a beloved bastion of Jedi goodness into a flawed embodiment of their wrongdoings and said hold my beer, my phone, and my shoes

Seeing that โone more thingโ framing and PS5 logo on such a huge stage really drove home how spectacular a failure this generation and push has been for Xbox.
"Steven Moffat cancel culture comedy" is such a perfectly baited trap that of course Douglas Is Cancelled is actually a vicious, gut-wrenching examination of complicity with Karen Gillan's finest hour at the heart of it.
I love how

delivers its "mature" and "adult" Star War not through edgy genre exploitation but discreet, deeply human moments. The script is the sharpest the franchise has ever been and it's thrilling to see it realise this potential.
Out of words for how fucking good

is. Star Wars at its most audacious, something I didnโt think possible post-2017. โOne Way Outโ is impossibly good - tears, gasps and all.
Personally I think if your activism is rooted in hatred of others rather than love for the people in your community you are unfortunately doomed to failure
If my wife and I had taken a middling book character and transformed her into one of the most compelling Jedi weโve ever seen only for the mouse to unceremoniously kill it, Iโd also go open sedition.

โAnnouncementโ is exactly that for this franchise. A brutal thesis statement on the mundanity/horror of a tightening noose and the inevitability of love under it. Genuinely have no idea how Iโm supposed to go back to Star Wars that isnโt this sharp, angry or considered.
If Star Wars fans are looking for short, non-canon animations about a variety of interesting and diverse takes on the galaxy far, far away might I interest you in the one you already don't watch
โI hate sandโ is actually good. Unsocialised dude who grew up a slave on a dust bowl trying to convey the differences of his experience to the woman heโs infatuated with after she describes sand as a representation of her wealth and comfort. Go off, George.
Apropos of nothing, Claudia Grey wrote the definitive Leia text in Bloodline and I think the choice to have her not forgive Vader just because Luke did remains one of the rawest character choices in the Sequel era.
I've never loved the idea that TCW "fixed" the prequels, if only because of this exact dissonance. The show (while great) doesn't actually interlock with its base text or characters, opting for a pocket world that is enjoyable but fairly useless as supplementary material.
Andor leaning into the stark retrofuturism of 70s sci-fi practical sets for its Imperial spaces is a cool riff on Star Wars' aesthetic that also manages to nudge the vibe of this well-trodden era just slightly out of the expected and makes the Empire feel alien again.
The reaction to this has been super weird! There are countless fans who arenโt US based whoโve had to deal with the financial/geographical hurdles of Celebration for a decade now. That barrier to entry finally lowering for others maybe isnโt about you.
The prequels did such a number on a whole generation. Dudes rock for the homebrew choreography but that these light shows are praised while the sequels dramatically satisfying and weighty duels are scorned is both insightful and sad.
Levitated during this exchange.

โs distribution of catharsis creating these revolting, funhouse mirror sickos is outstanding. Kinda still refuse to believe they let them make Syrilโs descent this fervid and lewd.
An openly queer filmmaker getting on that stage and tearfully claiming Star Wars as a life saving path of self discovery was such a bolt to the system. Headland seems so tuned in to the apparatus, its numbing scope and great potential. Adore her already.
The show about one womanโs journey through grief is gonna turn out to be a show about one womanโs journey through grief and theyโre gonna lose their goddamn minds.
Fuck off.
The High Republic has been a queer haven in a franchise devoid of representation and the idea that itโs being handed over to the dude who โdoesnโt make games for fagsโ is foul. I donโt care how well animated the trailer is.
Reminder that Canto Bight is an essential part of The Last Jedi and features some of Johnson's most vibrant filmmaking. It beautifully channels the prequels while forging its own bold identity *and* provides vital character/thematic work at the same time.
โDestiny is not decided for you by an anonymous Force. If you want to pull the threadโฆthen pull itโ
It took seven years but I think theyโre finally picking up the baton extended by The Last Jedi. Letโs fucking go.

Solo introduced a complex and layered womanโs journey into the crime underworld but because a cartoon man showed up for thirty seconds he gets a full series and she gets to meet Vader in comics.
Sorry For Your Loss getting buried in the Content mines is a tragedy. A career best performance for Olsen, a post-TLJ victory lap for Kelly Marie Tran and just a sincerely beautiful little show about grief and connection. Please watch it while you can.
Also, it is hard work to fully produce a video and if influencers want to be compensated for that effort thatโs a convo to have, but that compensation fundamentally changes your Content and relationship with your audience and calling your work marketing tells me you know that.
The thing about this that really busts my bullet is that weโve had years of thoughtful, text based analysis of TLJโs Luke from women in fandom but itโs not till a white dude spells it out for them that they could even begin to entertain the idea.
