I am immensely disappointed by the Prime Minister in creating a trans jibe in todays PMQ’s which is horrific within itself. Let alone the context of Brianna Ghey (trans girl) who was killed in a horrific transphobic attack only a few months ago.

Reason Number 2:
The Department for Education reported that in 2019, around 32% of students in England aged 10 to 16 had been bullied in the past year. PSHE programs often address anti-bullying initiatives. PSHE can offer support for victims in a non stigmatized environment. (5)

My Labour government will make sure the education system prepares young people for work and life.

Would love to update you all with what I’ve been up to the last few weeks. I’ve been volunteering with United Beach Missions. 1 week in Leysdown and 2 weeks in Newquay spreading the good news. I really enjoyed my 3 weeks on the beaches and the sunsets made it even better.
Reason number 1:
Depression is the leading cause of disability worldwide (World Health Organization). In the UK, one in four adults experiences a mental health issue each year. A robust PSHE curriculum can help pupils develop resilience and understand mental health issues. (4)
