With construction you may see lanes closed ahead. Use the zipper merge at these points to benefit all drivers. Zipper merges can ease congestion & shorten backups by 40%, delaying congestion by 14 minutes & cutting the line of cars by over 1/3 mile! Take turns at the merge!

I was at about 45mph on 77 south when this SUV entered from Woodland at 75mph? Hit the slush, never braked and hit both walls. I did not stop but called 911. Anyone driving like that at 2am is up to no good and I'm not getting hit too. No one in the car when CFD/EMS arrived.

Our Cleveland night crew was out last night clearing roads of debris and litter to keep drivers safe. Clean and clear roads means truck drivers delivering vital supplies, law enforcement, first responders, and health care staff are all able to work to save lives. #ODOTworks

ODOT plows have been struck 37 times this winter. Please remember these 3 tips. 1. Always obey traffic signs & laws. 2. Give our plows plenty of room to work (don't try to race around them). 3. ODOT snow plows can weigh over 24 tons, they are not something you want to hit.

The eastbound I-480 Valley View bridge is getting it's first deck pour today! The first of 15 pours. The bridge is expected to be completed in Sept. when traffic will shift as work moves to the westbound bridge. Lots of excitement from @thebiggreenw , @GPI1966 , and ODOT of course!
