There are so many sports leagues going on at the same time this weekend. PBA, UAAP, NCAA, PVL, Shakeys Super League and MPBL. Venues are hard to find. Consequently, fans are dispersed and ad money divided. Wish there was more coordination among leagues for better scheduling.

It’s unfortunate that the @FIBAWC sold single game tickets rather than bundling two games per day. So many interesting games to watch but tickets are too pricey. Don’t think the FIBA should expect that pinoys will buy multiple 5-14k peso tickets. Not too late to adjust though.

A group of technicians replayed the last 1.6 secs of game 1 to see if the shot counted. They started the timer exactly upon receipt of the ball and stopped the timer exactly as the ball left Castro’s fingertips. It came out to 1.5602 secs. Right call. Time to move on.

1st time Junmar went to Manila to play for SMB in the ABL was in 2011. He arrived on the last flight from Cebu and I met him for dinner at Shakey’s El Pueblo in Ortigas. He walked in literally in his mom’s arms like a lost little boy. Condolences Bai. Your mom taught you well.🙏

Our sports officials should not have agreed to this naturalization rule in Cambodia. Total mockery and disrespect of the spirit of the SEA Games. Plus the conditions of facilities should have been up to international standards. How can we play under these circumstances! #anyare
