I once set up one of those self driving simulations where it learns to avoid crashes using a genetic algorithm. I let it train for 10hrs and found it hadn’t move an inch. Turns out it learned it can avoid all accidents by never moving at all. Anyways that’s why you have anxiety

one of the crazy things about Stinger missiles is they have active liquid cooling to allow the infrared sensor to work at longer ranges, but the battery only works for like 30 seconds. you get 30 seconds to aim and fire or else you and everyone around you dies. no pressure!

the biggest reason i think America Is Good is that in the time period between Hiroshima and RDS-1 (first Soviet nuclear test) the richest country ever had the opportunity to take over the world with nukes and instead chose to set up various forms of international banking

because engineering classes are about “nothing matters unless you get the right answer” and liberal arts classes are about “are you socially capable of understanding which obvious conclusions to not draw attention to?” and this hypocrisy kills the autistic mind

I rarely if ever see liberal arts students cry about having to take math classes but virtually every engineering student who is going to enter into a six figure career cries because they have to take demanding courses like “How to Read” and “Some Stuff That Happened In The Past”
