Because John James is a decent candidate that's been running mostly positive and uplifting ads saying we've got to stop tearing each other down (even though he supports Trump). He has built a name for himself over the past few years.

The Biden lead is something of an answer to the 538 question "will Biden's lead in state polls migrate to match national polls?" But the Senate race is weird, and deserves attention - what the heck is going on?

Yeah this result is interesting. I think Peters wins between 5 to 10 points just do to Biden’s coattails
