NY's finest showed why they're the best on the planet, swiftly restoring order to our campuses with zero incidents!
But let's be clear: taxpayers shouldn't pay for universities failing to protect students.

The migrant crisis will persist due to a lack of border security and the city's limitless benefits on the taxpayers’ dime. If the TPS extension is hailed a success, then the city migrant centers should be shuttered.

Members of the Caucus had a productive meeting with Director Kenneth Genalo and the staff of the NYC Field Office of ICE.
They discussed the serious concerns regarding sanctuary city laws, among other critical issues.
Ever ordered the lobster, caviar, & a side of regret?
Our Co-Chair's op-ed hilariously dissects how the government generously allows pols to indulge in fine dining fantasies without checking our bank accounts.
If you've ever said, 'Oops, forgot my wallet,' this one's for you!
Not all politicans pushed the migrant crisis equally, some were total 'gavones.' Like overeating dining companions, we shouldn't all pay the tab equally. Read my Op Ed in today's

The city reached out to DocGo. Vernikov asks if any other vendors were considered. HPD says they met with many, but they were “tapped out” and “at capacity.” And because of capacity issues, DocGo was selected. Vernikov asks what type of services were provided by them.
@BobHoldenNYC
@InnaVernikov
Dr. Long from H+H says DocGo is not the only vendor that provides the services needed. He did not answer the question. HPD says they provide food, laundry, case management and social work. And that DocGo subcontracts to others to assist in providing the services.
@BobHoldenNYC
@InnaVernikov
CM Vernikov asks why for profit vendors without experience were selected over those who had experience. DSS Commish Park says there’s a mix of vendors doing the work that is in their wheelhouse. Essentially not answering the question.

Vernikov asks whether Lander reviewed the contract. He responds: “I did review the contract.” Lander continues to breakdown the various components of the contract, and that he’ll back to the CM with a “more specific set of answers,” per the contract and would could be added.
@BobHoldenNYC
Holden asks how the city’s challenge to Right to Shelter fits in with all the issues here. Admin. responds that the city is committed to providing shelter to anyone who needs it. Holden wants to know why we spend the money if we’re challenging Right to Shelter.
@BobHoldenNYC
@InnaVernikov

@JoannAriola32
asks whether there were discussions between the Admin. and
@NYCComptroller
before the contract was registered. HPD says there were discussions. Ariola asks what contracts have been successful we could be used as a measure for future success.
