We are so saddened by the passing of our friend Ray Liotta. He was a huge supporter of ACC and spent hours at the shelter playing with the dogs and meeting staff. Here he is filming a PSA promoting pet adoption. Forever in our hearts.

We are so thankful for our fosters! Check out this lucky pup Cider, who gets to spend time with her foster Yves! Cider is the 34th large boroughbred fostered by Yves!

This is 6 year old Baisley. She is the longest resident at ACC and we would love to find her a home before the New Year. Could it be with you or someone you know?
We are full. The line to surrender continues to outpace the line to adopt. When shelters are full stress levels are high and immunity levels are low. Please share our pets so they can be seen !
During blizzard conditions itβs imperative to keep an eye out for our own pets and for those of our community. If you see a pet outside, please call 911 right away.
ACC remains open, however transport will only be considered in emergency situations. (212) 788-4000.
