6 months ago, out of desperation to raise $ for cancer bills, I sold most of my @JRODshow44 collection (300 cards). @briandeeds13 bought a lot of that from the person I sold it to. Today, he Rak'ed me back some of those cards plus 200+ cards to give to kids. A very nice gesture.

We received the report from my wife's scans. The cancer is now in its next phase. Time for life changes. She is still doing ok, but now we know how to plan. So many of you have been such a great support and I thank you all. The hobby is truly a family. Blessings to all of you.

Wife Update-This will be last one-😀 MRI results from her fall 2 weeks ago-broke bone in foot, 2 severed tendons, 2 torn ligaments. Surgery coming. The bone may be permanently broken as the cancer may make it impossible to heal. Now we plan-Faithful & thankful for all the support

@CardPurchaser I think it's forcing people to realize who they are in the hobby. For example, I'm now a Vintage collector, dollar stack seller. I can't ever afford to be a slab guy, hobby box guy etc. The pricing & popularity are forcing people to choose a lane or two. I'm actually ok with it.

I want to thank the community for the fundraiser last month. Because of all of you I was able to purchase my wife's medication for the month. I can't even begin to express my thanks & how humbled I am. There's plenty of good in the world, just have to see it. God Bless all of you

Usually spreading positive but Sick & tired of negative people -People bringing down others -People diminishing other's accomplishments. We all have tinges of jealousy at times but to rip apart people is childish I'm tired of it Enjoy the greatness of others. Find joy in it.

Small hobby note for me: Once I possessed 347 @JRODshow44 cards. Today, I possess 0. I just sold the last 5. Love Jrod, but life called. It's a bittersweet day & I feel like a part of me (hobby wise) has ended. I've always been an open book so thanks for letting me share.

On what couldn't be a more fitting day, I received my 1st true Vintage Jackie Robinson card (well, it says delivered) I had a chance to speak to my class about him, his legacy & just how important he was, not just to baseball, but to our country. Cannot wait to see the card. #42

This great app we use has three very cool buttons- UNFOLLOW, MUTE & BLOCK. If you hate someone, block them. If someone is bugging you and ya need a break mute them. If someone is uninteresting to you, unfollow. Don't troll, tweet negative, and complain. You have options. Be kind!

Hobby things that make me laugh: 1-I will only pay below comps 2-I'm looking for non-base, but cheap 3-Spending 5 figures on a card for a guy with 21 Single A games under his belt (sure, I am a bit jealous 😂) 4-Will Gem for sure What am I missing? And this is all in fun.

Some days are tougher than others. Just the way it goes. On the tough days, it's vital you hold onto what gets you through the less tough days. The situation has not changed, just the emotion of the situation. Gotta stay faithful and strong in the valleys, not just the mountains.

Selling is hard-To sell well on Twitter you have to grind- EVERY DAY-grind-follow as many as you can,reply to as many, build relationships, know the sales threads, relationships are huge. I've made 1549 card sales-1477 on Twitter. It takes time, dedication patience. YOU GOT THIS!

@CardPurchaser When did the Hobby become so polarizing? We are ALL collectors- some of us flip, some stack sell, some collect only, some just like to rip. WHO CARES!! Outside of a few scummy breakers, let people be who they are. So much judgment and opinions. I love seeing peoples collections

30 years ago I, along with 18 friends, went to the USMC recruiter to sign up. 14 went to the Marines & 4 to college. I went to college. I failed my physical (pre-exisitng heart issues). I have nothing but admiration & respect for the men & women of our military. THANK YOU!!

I knew they would not grade high, but I also knew I wanted these preserved in a slab for my granddaughter when I am gone. Larry Doby and Duke Snider- Two of my PC guys Had a nice credit from @sgcgrading and thought this was a great way to spend it. #hobby
