Middle aged hag who enjoys 🍷 & 🍫. Loathes Tories, bigots, homophobes & racists. No DM’s or nude pics thanks, oh & no requests of marriage or my bank details.
I’m seeing too many “if you’ve had both jabs you’ll be ok” comments. My friends Dad is triple vaccinated, and currently in a drug induced coma on a ventilator, we ALL need to continue thinking it could be us next, stay safe 🙏
@simonharris_mbd
I’m nearing the end of Episode 2 and can say I’ve cried through most of it, H has lost so much of his life cos of who he’s born to, then to be ruled and governed by them AND the media, hell any normal person would want out of that. I adore them both
@GriffAurora
@PeteUK7
My folks went for their 4th a month ago, within 4 days they were covid +, Mum blames the jab 🤦🏼♀️ Dad blamed the anti maskers sat in the surgery waiting room, I blamed the pub they’d been mingling in 5 nights before. At 75 & 81 I thought they’d know better, parents!! 🤷♀️
@DrProudman
So every person now administering date rape drugs will walk away from any punishment because their victim was out of it and didn’t know what was going on? Absolute bollocks. What an absolute mockery
To those of you who have a parent with
#dementia
, or who lost a parent to dementia, what was the worst part for you? (More questions to follow as I’m struggling right now 💔)
@JournalistJill
He had me in tears Jill, I love it when folk like him win. I was driving from Scotland to Cumbria last Thursday when the lady (Amanda) who has cancer won £99k, she’s now able to take her 2 girls to Disney to make memories, I could barely see the road for tears
@dooshy68
@davidwalliams
@mikeylamb1
Are you serious, there’s more things that matter, not just black lives, like having a laugh, try it, you might like it 🤦🏼♀️
@darrengrimes_
Because no one dare criticise blacks for fear of being called racist, a little like the Rotherham grooming scandal, no one dare intervene because the guilty bastards were Asians and the authorities feared being called racist....Zzzzz there’s a pattern forming (or formed)
I only have 71 followers, but if ever any one of you feels isolated, down or in need, DM me, we are all in this shit together, just at different depths, and we all need to pull together, don’t suffer in silence, shout out to me
#bekind
@brainyfatboy
@carryonkeith
My mum still refers to my son as she/her, after 20+ years of having a granddaughter it is a simple slip, but Ross just takes it on the chin, he appreciates the transition isn’t just his, but that we are all on the journey with him
@captaintommoore
just away for a few days in Cumbria, and saw this amazing piece of art work, painted on the side of a pub. I thought you’d like to see it too
Well
@BritishGas
I wasn’t expecting that, and this is after the £66 monthly support. Our last bill was £187, are energy companies just plucking numbers out of a bag?
@RishiSunak
as my PM, please get this sorted NOW
@peterstopcrime
@dmisstify1
Regardless of how long the dog was there, 5 minutes or 5 hours, the description clearly explains signs of distress. If this is genuine, as a dog owner/lover, thank you for going above and beyond
@GOVUK
Like hell, a little like “head to the pubs on Saturday”, then Tuesdays headline “pub goers test positive for Covid-19”, i’d rather stay home and stick pins in my eyes thanks
@IrradiatedMouse
How beautiful, we all need a Peter in our life, what a truly lovely chap he is. I love how he offers help to make magic when it runs out
@JamesTCobbler
Has anyone ever googled the Timpson family. If only we had a Government who built itself on this ethos and the same beliefs, we’d be a country second to none. Merry Christmas to Team Timpson 🎅🏼
@JournalistJill
It was when he said he’d never won a thing in his life, then said something along the lines of “except the love of my late wife”. We all need a John in our lives, how wonderful was he ❤️🩹
@Eyeswideopen69
I met my friends brother at 20 & instantly fell for him, only I was newly married & expecting. That was 1990. In 2008 he sent a text out of the blue. We met, the rest is history, we’ve just had our 14 yr anniversary together, but not married yet, we don’t like to rush things 😂
@simonharris_mbd
“they could have had that”? like Diana did? Remind me, who hounded her to her death? Oh yeh, the media, the very same media who are now portraying a dead man; Dodi, as a play boy
@bigphil321
Good uns or bad uns, they were still someone’s son. It’s absolutely tragic, and I feel for all their loved ones, I hope the drivers parents don’t carry a burden though
@mollyblackall
This is harrowing & heartbreaking, yet folk still think they’re simply coming here to exploit our system. The % we receive here in the U.K. is nominal & we can afford them. Sadly we’ll always have the haters
@LambiLadaki
When people struggle with transgender, I always share this, it helps simplify it. That said, I have a trans male relative and I don’t discuss it, like I don’t discuss my straight nieces sexuality or being, if a person can care/love, does it really matter who/what they are?
@ClarkesLatin
A friend of mines hubby caught a burglar trapped in their bathroom window, he’d got snagged on his belt, Roger gave him a well deserved punch and shove to release him, he fell and broke his ankles, Roger was charged with GBH, for using excessive force 🤦🏼♀️
@carryonkeith
I stumbled on this tweet by accident, and I’m so glad I did. 30 yrs ago I gave birth to my daughter, Ross is his name, I loath the words trans, he’s my son now and that’s it. He makes me so proud every day with his courage for living his life as he wants, not as the ignorant…
@Irish_Doris
@pcmjmit
My partner has your same positive thought process, twice he’s beaten it now, he said positive thinking is the number one medicine
@DeborahMeaden
I’ve done the same, as well as 4 loads of washing, scrubbing dog beds, hoovering, dusting… all on my day ‘off’, & I’ll never moan about it again, a day I shall never take for granted, another day of freedom for me, whilst feeling such sorrow for Ukraine 🇺🇦
@lancycats17
@BBCBreaking
Unlucky how? I never quite understand all these leftie, snowflake, remoaner remarks, they’re such silly assumptions, usually by folk with low IQ, but I’ll assume you’re intelligent as I like a decent debate
@ahmedhankir
I hope that felt as good as it deserved. I love your story, and your brothers. I’d happily welcome a million people from other countries, colours, cultures if it meant getting rid of 1 of those people you describe here
@mooramana
Thank you Karen, Mum is so hell bent on caring for Dad til the end, he’s 82, she’s 76. He’s progressing quite quickly and mum is becoming scared of him. I want to find a dementia care home that we like before the decision is made for her, it’s bloody gruelling
@Iam_SarahJay
@grandmaambury
@AldiUK
I disagree, my friend is a Manager at Aldi & would not do that. IMO if you’d spoken to me like that & kept on ranting, I’d have shut the till, walked away & called Security
@Iam_SarahJay
@grandmaambury
@AldiUK
Gaslit? Humiliated? Other customers abusing you? I think she did very well to stay came at your neurotic outburst. I see/hear nothing here but you being all shouty and threatening, I can’t hear a word from the Aldi staff member nor other customers
@farah_khan21
My first thought is “what are you hoping to gain from this?” followed by “is this tweet just trying to stir up more hatred?”
Please, do tell us what your point was
@fesshole
My company interviewed recently & offered a guy the job, he declined, he said he couldn’t work with “sour flaps” on the interview panel, it made my day 🤣. I guess it works both ways.
@BBCBreakfast
@BBCNews
Just seen this on breakfast TV, we need more stories like this right now, and less doom & gloom, this has lifted my mood and restored my faith in humanity
@kendie
I don’t really want that for my Dad, in the ideal world I just want him to go to sleep & not wake. Mum is a spritely 76 yr old & I want her to enjoy her final yrs & not be Dad’s 24/7 which she’s so determined to be right now
@JeremyVineOn5
Can we tell them it’s the Covid jab but make it a lethal injection instead? It’d free the prisons up and save the tax payer, only a thought (runs and hides behind the settee before the human rights backlash!)
Every time I see a Johnson, Sunak, Braverman… (Tory) tweet, I can’t stop myself scrolling by without reading whilst saying loudly in my head “oh fcuk off..” anyone else have these little outbursts?
@mooramana
Karen you’ve done amazing. Take time out for you now. In 2019 I was diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia, a condition the medics said was linked to sudden adult death syndrome, it’s electrical. I always consider myself the lucky one, I’m just sorry G didn’t have any warnings ☹️
@SonOfISayPorter
@desertrose1969
His mother and grandfather were both French born, and Stanley is a remainer, he was also an MEP and worked for the European Commission. If I was in his position, I’d be applying too, wouldn’t you? I’m not defending him, just rationalising his decision
Anyone else hear a comparison in the “Shape of you” by
@edsheeran
and “Oh why” by Sami Switch? No, I didn’t think so, the depths some folk will go to to earn a fast buck 🤦🏼♀️
So earlier I tweeted “does anyone else randomly say “hi” to passing strangers?”, I honestly never imagined I’d get such a huge reaction. Thank you to all you likeminded lovely souls, you make our days more joyful, please keep saying hi, you may be the only interaction one gets
@carryonkeith
..in our society expect. He’s excelled in his career, has a huge network of friends, and even though he’s not had the full transition yet, many don’t know his story, and why do they need to. I wish Noah all the luck and love in the world
@Feiryred
I asked all my Tory/Brexit voting chums who happily defended both 12-18 months ago, & who rammed their opinions down my throat, to kindly take themselves off ALL my social media, the ‘friends/followers’ figure hasn’t declined, I guess it’s called shame, denial or embarrassment
Good morning
@trussliz
I checked and apparently you are still Foreign Secretary so freeing British detainees in Iran falls under your remit. However, you don't seem to be making much progress. Can you tell us why you haven't done anything to
#FreeNazanin
yet, please?
Thanks
@WYP_PCWILLIS
Instant ban, crush the car (preferably with the brain dead occupants in it), and fine them all accordingly. However, after all your hard work, I expect s/he’ll get a slap on the wrist when/if it gets to court
@sarajcox
I once left a Scrabble game on my car roof, it fell off and scattered everywhere, whilst picking it up a guy kindly came over to help, he asked “hey, what’s the word on the street?!” 🤣😂
@alefeusch
@joannemim
@BBCWorld
I took opioids for 10 yrs for a spinal injury. I now have ventricular tachycardia which is linked to overuse of opioids, most folk with VT aren’t aware they have it til they go in to sudden cardiac arrest. I’m sure the cause of his death will be known soon, so very tragic
1971 was decimalisation, 50 years on this plastic wrapper hasn’t even started to rot, please be mindful of what you buy and how you dispose of it
@GretaThunberg
@Meeshlwills
I’d be inclined to do both “ish” and say “I’m ever so sorry, I believed it was mine that’s been there months, I thought I was the only person who refrigerated rice packets, I’ll replace it”
@MrsLScotland
@Scally__
Please don’t delete this post, people need to know this vital information. How utterly tragic for those poor bees, I despise people at times. I really hope they’re ok this morning 🐝
@mooramana
You’ve been so brave Karen, I’ve cried at every post I’ve read, your resilience is amazing, but once you’ve sent Graham on his final journey on Monday, please give yourself some time, you need to look after yourself to process everything. Sending a huge hug
@LambiLadaki
Having worked in Revenue Protection previously for BG, EON, Scottish Power… it’s dangerous & illegal. Sadly this is the desperate lengths folk are going to thanks to the energy hike, ever wondered why we’re seeing more gas explosions?
@RobertLindsay
Jan ‘20 whilst in hospital they diagnosed me with swine flu, I think it was Covid but we were only just talking about it, I still have brain fog, fatigue, insomnia, heart arrhythmias… just had Covid after living like a hermit for 2 yrs and feel totally drained
@GrumpyBiker1969
2/2 it’s bloody tough to start with, your mental health will be a rollercoaster, you’ll cry buckets, believe life isn’t worth living, but it truly is, and for many the world is a better place for having you in it. Hang on in there, reach out if you need to ❤️🩹
@theJeremyVine
Very sad for the guy who found him and those poor souls who had to go clean him up. Interesting too how he had methadone in his back pack, kinda speaks volumes
Only several months ago, a Haringey Council Social Worker was stabbed multiple times whilst carrying out their job, but we’re not reading about this daily. What happened to Sir David Amess is shocking, but not isolated to MP’s 🤷♀️ so why all the media coverage?
“Pans, I only have 1, curtains, I have none, and a hoover, I need to clean this empty space, it’s our sanctuary”. She had fled domestic violence with nothing 💔. Today’s experience has made me realise more than ever how lucky I am. Just heading back with more items for her.
Just a quick thank you to everyone who’s taken the time to reply, I thank each and every one of you, I’m struggling to keep up, you’ve all been so kind and helpful x
@feefer
This is the very reason we need to get it through to Mum that find Dad care isn’t a failure on her part and that we fear losing both parents if she carries on as she is
@richardodurrant
My bro & his partner took a baby that was removed at birth due to DV, her 2 siblings were adopted several yrs earlier. The applied for Guardianship to keep her & allow parents visits, it was refused, she’s been handed back to them 💔
@Stuzipants
I don’t believe we’ll ever know what truly triggers suicide because it’s always too final to ask, I just believe some folk are too tormented for here, and we should never judge. I do belief that there’s an invisible switch that folk flick when they truly can’t survive anymore 💔
