Everyone needs to watch this Johnny Manziel doc on Netflix. Not just to see his story, but realize how these universities have been ripping off high profile athletes for years!! A&M raised $740m in ONE year.

There’s nothing wrong with taking advice from coaches who work with elite athletes. But we as an industry have to start giving more credit to coaches that consistently develop athletes over a long term period. That requires progression in and out of the gym.

Here’s a secret… Drinking just water isn’t enough for your body. You need to add some sort of salt or electrolytes to it. Start by adding a little pink sea salt and lemon. You’re welcome.

One of the best things all S&C coaches should do … Expand your network OUTSIDE of S&C Build relationships with entertainers, artist, real estate agents, etc. It’ll increase your value & enhance life.

For private sector coaches who struggle with pricing. Here’s a template for you to use. … - The levels are based on the client and how advanced they are. - Try to sell packages or reoccurring, not one offs.

Hey Coaches … Let’s normalize being ok with knowing we’re not on the same level as other coaches. Yes, we can share ideas, but understand we are not all equal. This will help push our industry forward.

I know hating on powerlifting and PL coaches is the popular thing to do by traditional S&C. But you should probably go listen to Matt Wenning more. He’s helped me keep my athletes healthy, while consistently improving.

Still amazes me after all these years the general public doesn’t realize how big athletes are. And this is all sports. Go watch elite level soccer and understand even they are not small.
