Yesterday I broke into a guys house, and declared that I was going to be living in it from now on. When he protested “this is my house!” I informed him that in fact numerous people had lived in the house before him. He left, defeated.

@micah_erfan Silly point. SDL’s whole point here (which is correct) is that the flag has taken on a broader meaning than simply “the flag of the Soviet Union” and that most people who use the flag today probably aren’t fans of the Soviet Union and all of the policies it implemented

I don’t understand why people are being so crazy about the Chomsky thing. Do people think that Epstein raped kids with every single person he talked to? Do they think it’s wrong to talk to talk/meet with people who have committed crimes in the past? What’s the issue?
