@MimbresSchool
Only just heard about you from all this shit about love and books. Glad this is happening. It has me thinking and laughing. See you around.

A one-off reading group. Sean will give some opening comments but it's not a formal lecture or anything like that, participants should come ready to share thoughts.

Hey there. We hope to offer more global-friendly timeslots for classes in the future, but for the moment most of our audience is on NA or EU hours. However, all the course recordings are available for $10/mo with a subscription at
@willszal
@buchmanster
(and if you purchase the annual subscription at this year's fundraiser, your contribution will also be matched by a mysterious donor.)
@MMABrainDotCom
it's "work" as opposed to "getting paid to do what we wanted to do anyway." also, classes are subsidized by subscriptions (the school loses money on the classes and makes it back up in subs) so diminishing returns on running the same material twice.
@SamuMcChampface
@CapenerSean
If folks are keen to keep reading on this topic we can keep going after this first session but they won't be free and open to all since we do pay Sean for his time :)
hey while we're all talking about the 'transition debate' and 'market dependence' who'd be interested in reading something relevant to these issues with a group? thinking about putting something together via
@MimbresSchool
@MMABrainDotCom
however, if you get in discord and start participating and you can get enough people together who want to rerun the class, we'll consider it. we'll probably come up with a system for this. we're a little too new for it to have become a big issue so far.
@0xdyan
@mininghistory
there's not a particular deadline for signups but we highly recommend signing up at least a week before the class begins so you can do the reading for the session
@MMABrainDotCom
it's possible, but probably not for some years. our classes are very affordable in part because we don't ask instructors to teach the same material over and over again - doing that is more work. however, we may reprise some classes if there is sufficient popular demand for them
