One column layout. Education and a kills/software first (these are your best qualifications). Say what you did in freelance work. If personal projects are portfolio pieces I would say put the descriptions of how they were made there instead and write a summary of your experience.

My thesis: The purpose of the resume is to provoke a reaction of "I must follow up."
So you do need to show "this might be the most exciting candidate" but do not need to show "this is a provably acceptable candidate." Proof comes from your portfolio and interview.

Imo, I feel if you get rid of "personal" and just leave projects it comes off as more professional. Also maybe add some unique skills you've learned while freelancing as well. Maybe adapted to pipelines or worked well with others on a art focused team.

I always miss the language session that you speak, perhaps making the softwares you work with more evident and in a better order. The pipeline skills you learned would also leave each one of them with greater detail and priority, a more complex description perhaps.

Personally I’d add hyperlinks or images of the projects.
Just reading this I have no idea if those projects are good (and therefore relevant experience) and I am not willing to to go google it, especially if it might not be there anyway.
@MichaelG_3D
There is not a "one size fits all" resume. But I believe you and many others always undervalue your skills and whatnot. One approach I follow is put everything relevant to a job on there. Especially if it's listed in the job description.

First, CV’s are only looked at *after* the portfolio, at least in small companies.
Now, I do think some teamwork/collab experience would be great in here, even if just a uni project. Also, a game jam would be a huge plus! That shows passion and initative.

Thank you, school closed when we were starting to making a project so didn’t get to make a game while attending and finished online at a different school, also I don’t think I would have the time to participate in a game jam unfortunately:/

Every professor/professional that dealt with our resumes (I had a few classes involve resumes as assignments) always hated the multi column, colorful templates. Single column like this was what they wanted. Mine is very similar to this style and has well worked for me.
