Mason Rudolph has been nothing but a professional since being drafted even while the city has vilified him for the sole reason that he isn’t Ben.
It’s been disgusting how Steeler fans have treated him. He’s played well this preseason and training camp. Guy should get respect.
@i_BSmith4
Hey De’Veon. I’m a reporter with Steelers Now and I’d love to interview you. I emailed your agency, but can’t find any other way to reach out.
Top donations currently for Damar Hamlin’s charity, which is about to cross $6 million.
Owners of the Bills biggest rival the Patriots are the second biggest donation.
Patriots legend Tom Brady is sixth.
Some things are bigger than sports.
Pat McAfee (
@PatMcAfeeShow
) bought every all ride ticket for kids 17 and younger at Plum’s annual SummerFest last month.
He footed an approximate $32,000 bill to allow kids (about 1,600 kids) to ride everything for free.
@WVSportsNow
What an absolute d-bag move by Martin of FAU.
You barely just beat a 16-seed, the runner-up in a horrible conference, they decide to stop fouling, and you try to do an dunk like that.
Glad he missed. Hope it makes the One Shining Moment video.
WVU commit
@Rodney_G3
just said on
@_adamcrowley
@937theFan
that he was being recruited to play basketball at WVU and both Brown and Huggins said the door is open for that to happen.
David Ortiz was named in the Mitchell Report and was a first ballot Hall Of Famer.
The morality clause is bs and the voters are hypocrites. Bonds is the greatest hitter ever and should be in.
WVU fans, Pitt fans, I know you both hate each other. But you have to at least respect the fact that both of your programs appreciate the significance of the rivalry.
In today’s era where USC joins the Big 10 and PSU claims to be “unrivaled,” you have to like this kind of stuff.
Lol just awful points being made. And I also don’t think they should play annually but the points being made here are just awful…
1. If you’re justification is the “ACC stinks” then write about how they just scheduled Syracuse, not the conference champion.
So, this isn't a joke? What an absolute buffoon. Somebody tell this idiot...yo,
@ChaseClaypool
...the plane has crashed into the mountain! Play music. ***k off.
Two things can be true:
1. WVU obviously had a major impact on Pitt selling out this game. Pitt’s sellouts in the Narduzzi era are PSU and WVU.
2. They won’t have majority of the fans there. It’ll probably be around 80-20 in favor of Pitt. PSU had around 30% of the stadium.
I thought this was really cool. The marching band’s performance (band of 9 people) was cut from halftime due to homecoming court.
So they let them perform after the game and the entire North Catholic football team stayed to watch.
@PghSportsNow
#WPIAL
Just a few positives…
1. JT Daniels looks like a real leader at QB
2. False starts were bad, but run protection led to 200+ yards against a tough DL
3. WVU’s DL had 5 sacks and held Pitt to under 76 yards rushing against a tough OL
And of course… CJ Donaldson
Hot take: the Pierogi race was best when it was mostly video of them running past Pittsburgh landmarks, with cheesy Yinzer commentary. Then they would only actually run a quick straightaway from RF corner to first base.
This bridge crap ain’t it.
West Virginia and/or Marshall fans, do you consider WVU-Marshall a rivalry?
From my outsider perspective, 12-0 in history doesn’t seem like a rivalry at all, but I get it being the two big football schools in the state.
It’s a phenomenal alternate. It’s clean with the changes really being minor, but noticeable and significant enough to see an improvement.
More importantly, it’s very obviously a WVU uniform. Not just the colors, but the state on the helmet and country roads, clearly WVU.
I spoke with 2023 WVU DB commit
@JosiahJacksonnn
earlier today who said that his official visit this past weekend at WVU led to him closing his recruitment
That means he won’t be taking anymore official visits and there is essentially 0 chance of him being flipped by signing day
Considering NIL deals are made from booster contributions, you have a fanbase that constantly brags about having the “world’s largest alumni base” and 107K strong even in the midst of down seasons.
There’s absolutely NO EXCUSE for Penn State to fall behind in NIL.
Just got off the phone with Marshall and WVU target
@KarsonHobbs

WVU fans would be interested to know that he is actually being trained by former WVU great and No. 6 overall pick Adam ‘Pac-Man’ Jones.
@WVSportsNow
Pitt, PSU, and even DUQ all lost today.
If WVU loses tonight at No. 17 Oklahoma, then only one of our area’s five D1 teams won.

I am very excited to announce that starting Friday I will be working on the
@WPXI
skylights team by helping gather scores. It’s a very minor position, but a position I’m very excited about and a good way to get my foot in the door.
BEYOND EXCITED to announce my new role with
@PghSportsNow
as I will become the PSU/WVU recruiting insider for their sites
@WVSportsNow
and
@NittanySN
!
I’m excited I get to help out with the best college sports coverage in the area in such a significant role!
I had the chance to catch up with WVU’s highest ever rated recruit.
@Rodney_G3
seems like a great kid, who will do big things at
@WVUfootball
.
Wanna know what happened on his official visit? The odds of him playing basketball? Check it out below.
Rodney Gallagher speaks about his official visit to

“The visit was great. I had fun all around. Everything we did and everything they did for us.”

I’m very honored to have been selected as Digital Content Manager (Editor-In-Chief) for
@RMUSentryMedia
. As someone who, just two years ago couldn’t afford to go back to school, I can honestly say that this is truly humbling. I’m very excited to see what we do next year!
I spoke with North Catholic four-star athlete Brady O’Hara (
@BradyOHara4
) after his team’s 19-0 win over Highlands.
O’Hara has offers from all three of our D1 coverage teams (Pitt, PSU & WVU).
Interestingly enough, the current TE/DE athlete is being recruited to play LT at PSU

I’m not a big Biden guy either, but I certainly don’t ever remember him saying he was for defunding the police or even cutting police budgets significantly.
Now if you’re talking about the Democratic Party and not Biden, that’s different. But Biden always took a different view.
The surprise of a lifetime—Bill Radocaj, a long time penguins fan, got to meet Sidney Crosby today as part of the annual tradition to give out surprise packages to season ticket holders
This was one of the toughest stories for me to write. I can honestly say though, that I was so incredibly impressed with the courage it took this young girl to be so open on the passing of her boyfriend.

He rips out the line about his players not be as good as the team last year. And then takes a pause.
And yinz are accusing
@_NoahHiles
for “lacking context”
Narduzzi’s tone and demeanor add even more context to what he is saying. Which is that his players are not good enough.
here’s Pitt Head Coach Pat Narduzzi’s full answer from today’s postgame press conference when he was asked why this isn’t a great situation his team is going through.

@JohnDreker
Eh, if you have no intention on going for it (like the Pirates should in 2022) then go with the inexperienced 40-man.
I think they can afford to do that for one more year.
I’ve already said this, but it’s kind of cool that the three teams who play in the
@UPMCEventsCtr
will have all hosted their conference tournaments in it’s first year.
I'm very excited to share that I have accepted a position with Pony Baseball and Softball to be their 2019 Bronco & Palomino World Series Media Intern. I will be in charge of creating all media content for their tournaments in Laredo, Tx. I am very excited to start this chapter!
@lightwrk2
Using business as a way to justify an irrational hatred for a guy that was a third round pick who went 5-4-1 when he needed to fill in as a back-up is plain stupid. Business sense would be to keep a third string with an above .500 record and expect a third round QB to be a backup
Just got off the phone with

Very excited to announce that I’ll be back working at
@PghSportsNow
covering various sports in a paid, part-time role!
I’ve always enjoyed working for
@ASaunders_PGH
and co. and I’m glad I get to do it on a more frequent basis!
If WVU is planning on evenly dividing snaps between four QBs this week, then I understand the concerns completely.
If WVU hasn’t named a starter because they want to mislead Pitt, and are giving that QB all the first team reps this week. Then no cause for concern.
Regardless of what the split it, both Pitt and WVU fans attending can park at the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh North Side edition by the stadium for the cost of only a donation!
I’m here at a sold out Norwin where Pitt basketball recruit Brandin Cummings and Lincoln Park take on WVU football recruit Rodney Gallagher and Laurel Highlands in the PIAA State Playoffs.
My final project is being turned in, which means, I am a college graduate at

Definitely an interesting and memorable time to graduate. Going to miss this place, but had a blast! Definitely made the right choice four years ago!
Just spoke to Jaylon Shelton (

legend Hines Ward is the fan favorite, but was Antonio Brown the better wide receiver? Or does Ward's overall ability make him better?
Team Ward, or Team Brown?
Javier Baez is slashing .207/.258/.404 with the Mets.
Francisco Lindor is slashing .224/.317/.370.
Kevin Pillar is slashing .211/.253/.390.
The three are making a hair under 60 million this year.
The Mets are 9-20 since the deadline. And they’re complaining about being boo’d.
Francisco Lindor, Javier Báez and Kevin Pillar were among those Mets players to flash thumbs-down signs after their hits today.
"When we don't get success, we're going to get booed," Báez explained afterward. "So they [the fans] are going to get booed when we get success."
Just got off the phone with

I’d counter this with is there someone they can realistically get for a slightly above average 36 year old DH that is worth the bad press of pissing off teh fanbase and the last true face of the franchise, who is willing to resign with you?
Had a couple of photographers at the

Then where he dad came back, her parents made meth while having sex. Mistake happened in the meth cook and they blew up.
I’m not a huge anime guy, I like it, but don’t seek out animes like a lot of others do.
That being said, I just watched Blue Eye Samuri on Netflix. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Just incredible from all aspects.
So excited to announce that I will be helping launch and advise an online student-run news outlet for Plum.
When I heard my school district no longer had a school paper, that was unacceptable. I’m excited to not only bring it back, but also bring 21st century journalism to them!
Proud to say that I made Dean’s List again! I don’t want to sound like I’m boasting this, but after working on four TV shows, two radio shows, another radio job, sports editor, writing, and working at Walgreens all while taking 18 credits, I feel like a weight has been lifted.
(1/3) CAREER NEWS: I’m stepping down from my WVU football beat writer role. I’m not going anywhere, but I’ve accepted a full-time marketing position and can no longer commit to covering the press conferences and games, and other such events the job requires.
