Most likely my last art post for 2023, so here’s goes—As a huge fan of both mega-talents Greg Weisman and Humberto Ramos I’m still in shock to have been able to do a variant cover for their new book they’ve teamed up on, Spectacular Spider-Men! Issue 1 hits stands March 2024.
He’s short and stout, buuuut whatever you do don’t call him a teapot. Beautiful sculpt by Gabe Galvao based on Wolverine concept art I did a few years ago.
Conan says drink responsibly! Honored to have been able to contribute this variant cover for Conan the Barbarian no 11. The issue is on sale May 22!
@JimZub
and team have been doing INCREDIBLE work on the title.
That’s a wrap!
@WonderCon

I’m very sad to hear about the passing of Ramona Fradon. I was familiarized with her charming artwork on the Super Friends comics. Keeping Ramona, her family and her friends in my thoughts and prayers.
I’m sad to hear about the passing of icon Carl Weathers. He made the characters he played rememberable. My thoughts and prayers go out to Carl, his family and friends.
Here’s what I have in my digital cartoon collection. It consists of 95% of pre 80s-80s cartoons. Hopefully, you’ll be able to see the 4 images clearly.
WonderCon prep is going strong. Here’s the new checklist catalog mock up of items I’ll have for purchase at my table. Making sure it’s good to go before sending it to the printer. I’ll have a new one also for San Diego ComicCon because there will be more covers out by then.
Super Friends is the introduction I had to DC Comics that sparked my love for the characters, and still holds a very special place in my heart. The cartoon series was produced by Hanna-Barbera and ran from 1973-1985 Saturday mornings on ABC.
Sigh…the X-Men cartoon series we were robbed of. X-Men: Pryde of the X-Men is an animated pilot broadcast in 1989 on the Marvel Action Universe television block. I would still love to watch this series if it was made with this quality!
First 2 shelves of my old school physical cartoon collection. I’ll post more through the days to come. What I don’t have showing I’ll most likely have it in my digital collection.
Dang…I completely broke one of my recently purchased DVDs and noticed I cracked another from that set when I was trying to pull them out. The case’s fasteners was super difficult to deal with. I’ve never broken a dvd before. DOH!
My little helper 🐻 showcasing the service cart I purchased recently to expand my merch surface area for the cons. I have two here at the show; one on each side of me. It’s easy to open and close and rolls with ease. I highly recommend these carts!
