Are you... Glad it's back? Or slightly terrified? 🤔 The Japanese Giant Spider Crab is the largest crustacean on the planet. It is known as ‘Taka-ashi-gani’ in Japan, which means tall-legged crab. This spider crab was donated to the museum in 1904 by Dr J.H Ashworth.

Wonderful to see @McrMuseum become the first in the UK to return sacred artefacts to indigenous Australian communities. These objects belong to them - it's their history and it shouldn't sit in a museum 10,000 miles away. I hope others follow suit.
