One the one hand, I support FFXIV’s effort to eliminate toxic behavior and maintain the momentum of their surprisingly successful PVP relaunch. On the other hand, I do think bards should be able to pull out the bongos mid match and play “In the Air Tonight” when they kill you.

I’m sorry, not only is it ahistorical to think most pc versions of games were good 20 years ago, but there was literally a period of time from 2004-2010 when the PC ports got WORSE because publishers assumed the entire market was being spent on WoW and the ports weren’t worth it.

The new Animal Crossing is really slick: there’s not a lot of tutorializing, instead encouraging players to expirament and collect Nook Miles to understand the gameplay loop. It truly is the Dark Souls of Animal Crossing games.
