Why? Quantumania is a good movie. What I've come to realize about a lot of Marvel fans these days is that they equate unmet expectations with a bad movie. Same thing happened with MoM. It wasn't the MCU's BEST IMO but it's a solid Ant-Man adventure.

Comedy worked for Thor Ragnarok and not Thor Love and Thunder for ONE reason. Jeff Goldblum. The Grandmaster and his planet were themed goofy. So the goofiness worked within the context of the villain. Gorr isn't The Grandmaster. The tone should match the stakes.

Just saw #TheMarvels . It's fun. Not super duper INCREDIBLE but a good time. There's some really dope action sequences and the fight choreography is pretty fantastic. Just wish the villain was more impactful is all. All in all, it was a decent time. Mid-credits is exciting.
