4:46pm - Stuart Tower reported tornado touch down 8-10 miles west of airport.
4:51pm - Call from 6906 SW Woodbine Way in Palm City for tornado that touched down, causing the powerline to hit a palm tree.

Pratt Whitney Rd near Foxwood has been shut down.
Last night, crews worked a brush fire around Seabranch Preserve State Park which threatened to impact structures.
Firefighters were able to help prevent it from spreading beyond 1.5 acres & contain it despite heavy vegetation nearby as fuel.

It’s been a busy Valentine’s Day morning as multiple crews responded throughout the county for several vehicle-related incidents.
The first was for a submerged car on SW Citrus Blvd in Palm City, called in around 7 am, which required the response of our dive team.
All SB lanes of I-95 at 95 mm in Hobe Sound are closed as the driver of a truck is being airlifted to the hospital.
The driver reportedly lost consciousness & crashed, suffering serious injuries. 2 passengers had non-life threatening injuries. Unknown object struck the vehicle.
We’re currently searching for a missing 16-year old male swimmer, last seen getting into the water near 4349 NE Ocean Blvd this morning.
The call came in around 6:48 am as a witness reported seeing the swimmer enter the water and begin struggling.

Our crews rushed to Dahoon Terrace in Jensen Beach this morning after a homeowner called 9-11.
A propane tank went up in flames, spreading to the roof.
The home is a total loss, but thankfully, the occupant made it out unharmed.
The State Fire Marshal is investigating.
Kudos to Fire Medics Crystal McNamara & Carli Homish for putting a car fire out by themselves Tuesday around 10 am.
A man was on Sharon Street in Hobe Sound, using carb cleaner spray to start his vehicle & it flashed, causing 1st degree burns up to his forearms.

1 vehicle rolled onto its side, and 1 victim was trapped inside.
