How good is @IndyCarRadio ? Well, I have literally zero interest in motor sports, but I make it a point to listen to some of the Indianapolis 500 every year because I appreciate great radio. This is one of the best radio broadcasts you will hear, regardless of sport.

When I came to the @pacers , Mel Daniels went out of his way to educate me about the @nba . Hard to believe it was six years ago today that he left us, and I will always be grateful to the man for his friendship and guidance in navigating a strange new world.

While there was never a day that I didn’t appreciate/cherish the impact Slick had on me personally and professionally, it really resonates now that he’s not with us. He passed 2 years ago today, and while I wish he was still here, I feel fortunate that he was in my life at all.
