Excellent news from Benetton that former Edinburgh back-row Nasi Manu has responded well to chemotherapy after being diagnosed with a form of urological cancer last year. Club say he will be able to gradually resume sporting activity while undergoing regular medical checks

In times of crisis, always revert to blaming Greig Laidlaw. Because it's his fault nobody else has developed the necessary skills to convincingly dislodge him. Very likely he'll finish up after the World Cup anyway - perhaps some will learn to show him some respect in hindsight

For my money, that was comfortably the best Glasgow team display since Danny Wilson took charge. Always felt and said that this season was far more appropriate time to judge the coach, and he seems to have found answers to a number of big questions. Hope they can keep it coming.
