I just saw a parent yell “You’re a (effing) joke!” at a referee until the ref kicked him out. People wonder why there’s a referee shortage. It’s not the kids. It’s the parents. Pretty soon, there isn’t going to be anyone to officiate games unless the parents learn to behave.

Have to say this about Matthew Hurt — Every single game, the opposing fans and players targeted him. Criticism, hard fouls, trash talk — he got it all. Through it all, he didn’t crack once. Didn’t chirp back, didn’t start a fight. Handled it with class the whole way through.

Stewartville running back Josh Buri ( @Josh_Buri25 ) has been working out three times a day during quarantine. It's part of the reason he's bulked up to 210 pounds and has a sub 4.5 40. The school's all-time leading rusher and his teammates are still preparing for a season.
