I am so, so angry and upset. Just attended a meeting hosted by Dutch Amnesty about the importance of men and their understanding of consent and boundaries. I asked how that relates to lesbians being called transphobic for rejecting transwomen. Got told "TWAW" and was kicked out.

Unisex fitting rooms at Swedish chain of clothing stores, Cassels. The doors of the fitting rooms are so low that most men can see over them. For the men who can't do that, they have created a handy peephole. The mirror on the rear wall guarantees a view on both sides. 1/2

Dutch law has a decree that in 24 (!) articles comprehensively describes what counts as 'chocolate' and what not. It lists permitted ingredients as specifically as types of fats, % of ingredients allowed etc. But the word woman can include any man who says he is one.

Sommige heteroseksuele mannen willen lesbische vrouwen zijn. Lesbische vrouwen die het daarmee oneens zijn, mogen daarom zichzelf niet meer zijn. Zij zijn niet langer lesbische vrouwen maar "transfobe terf's" in de woorden van de voorzitster van COC.

Soms is stilstaan ook vooruitgang. Utrechters die wachten op het stoplicht aan de Lange Viestraat, zien nu de 1e Intersekse Progress Pride-oversteekplaats van Nederland liggen. Het regenboogpad was na 10 jaar aan een update toe, in Utrecht moet íedereen zichzelf kunnen zijn.

I just closed my @Pinterest account. They had been deleting my pins about women's rights regularly. Today they even deleted an entire board. I'm furious. None of my pins were harmful to anyone. Defending women's sex-based rights isn't hate.

We still bear the brunt of that sex-based oppression. We need to describe ourselves as a sex-class in order to fight misogyny and sexism.
