After an extremely competitive back and forth game, the Largo Lions pulled away in the 4th and took a commanding lead. When it was all said and done, they defeated the Carver Vo-Tech Bears 66-52 to take home their first state championship since 2008 in the Class 2A game.

Did someone chant "UNDEFEATED"? And with a 27-0 record, the Hammond Golden Bears won their 4th state title in girls basketball (first since 1995). They pulled away in the 4th and never relinquished the lead again. They beat the Francis Scott Key Eagles 65-46 in the Class 2A game.

Wow, what a game! After a 2-0 Leonardtown lead was lost in the final 10 mins, 2 sudden death OTs did not decide a winner. It took 4 rounds of penalty kicks for the Leonardtown Raiders to take the Class 4A state soccer title from the Northwestern Wildcats!
