In memory of Officer Sean A. Collier on the 7th Anniversary of his line of duty death, the MITPD Sean A. Collier committee has teamed up with
@diginn
to provide meals to local hospitals.
Today we remember the life of Officer Sean Collier, who we lost 11 years ago. Officer Collier was the model of community policing, compassion, and equity. It could not be more fitting that his likeness welcomes all to our station and to the Collier Community Room.
In honor of Officer Sean Collier's birthday and the first annual Sean Collier Day, Wilmington PD laid a wreath at the foot of his tree of life yesterday.
Today, on Peace Officers Memorial Day, we pay recognition to the officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.

Today, a local Girl Scout Troop tracked down Sgt. Sousa in the Student Center. They wanted to share their delicious cookies with our officers as a way of saying Thank You. Many thanks to them for making our day!
Today would have been my brother's 32nd birthday. Sean would often go out of his way to make someone smile or make their day brighter & I think about how many little kindnesses the world has lost over the past 5 years. Do a little something kind for Sean today.

In honor of Sgt. Brian Sousa and Officer Sean Collier, retired MIT Captain Cheryl Vossmer sponsored a flag in their honor.
Today would have also been Sgt. Sousa's birthday.
