Lots of criticism of this from traditionalists, I might once have agreed. But I tried this style of worship and found I loved it. And a large, youthful congregation seems to love it too. HTB plant churches are flourishing.

I keep a note on my desk that says "remember that you might be wrong." I take the opposite view on natalism from Ehrlich, of course. But generally a good rule in life is to behave normally and instinctively, rather than following any given ideology.

What's happening in the region is tragic and complex, but what's happening in the UK is really quite simple. The pro-Israel march featured a rendition of the UK national anthem. The pro-Palestine marches, in contrast, featured violence, thuggery, and explicit antisemitism.

In the UK we have a self-defeating hybrid immigration model: Treat the country as a home when it comes to welfare and healthcare (= look after our family members) But treat it like a shop when it comes to border control (="Britain is open for business") Pick one!

Nice argument — pity it’s not true. In fact non EU migrants are MORE likely to be unemployed, on disability and live in social housing. We’re importing huge numbers of economically inactive people.
