Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s decision is in order to slow the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Michigan.
LOCS plans to close immediately, beginning Friday, March 13.
Lake Orion Community Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 12 due to an impending storm, predicted to cause treacherous morning driving conditions. Decisions about afternoon and evening activities will be announced on the LOCS website, social media outlets by midday Tuesday.
