I had short hair when I was a ten-year-old girl, and was mistaken for a boy several times (mortifying). When I said girl, the people who thought boy were embarrassed, apologised, and accepted that I was a girl.
How far society has fallen that someone would now argue the point.
“Girl, 9, accused of being trans at Kelowna track meet”
This is where anti-trans hate leads. It is an attack on all forms of gender non-conformity, ending in the re-imposition of regressive gender norms and threatening progress on women’s rights.

they argue because some people are insisting boys should compete against girls, and are putting those boys into girls competitions and lying about their sex.

Serious question:
How many dads do you know who admit that their son can't compete against boys, but brag he's way stronger than the girls, so they say he's a girl, and have him compete against girls, and check out his trophy for girl's shot put.
Any? Because I don't know any.

I was called "Young man" once by an older man when I had a pixie cut at around 10, and when I corrected him, he stood and screamed in my face for at least 10 minutes how my hair was inappropriate and disrespectful. This was early early 90s. Some people are just terrible people.

Unfortunately the trans ideology reinforces the idea of gender stereotypes.
If a child likes dolls or cutesy things its a girl, if hates pink its a boy. Even doctors saying you can tell a child is in the wrong body by not liking little bows in their heads. Its nonsense.
