Mufasa is definitely large even as far as East African lions can get. Probably comparable to the cases of large Southern African lions. A cool detail I like is that Simba in Part 2 grows to look more like his dad in muscle mass & height. They’re big lions for sure.

@luci_carino @estarguarstia Its the sinful legacy of Latin Americas racism going back to the Spanish & Portuguese. Promoting whiteness as best. Gaslighting Indios & mixed people that somehow being White was best, anything else shameful. & even using the casta to turn Indios & Africans on each other.

@ihycharli The Tlālōcānos were Mesoamerican not Hispanic. Played by Hispanic actors of Indigenous descent (some Mexican & some from Guatemala & Nicaragua) but in story made their own nation to escape colonization by Europeans like the Spanish.

The MonsterVerse movies are fun and you’re no less of a Godzilla fan for liking them or liking them more than ShinGodzilla. Godzilla fans are Godzilla fans no matter which movies or iteration they like most.
