Don’t blame the King. His Majesty is bound by advice of the Pardons Board. Article 40(1A) of d const is clear- the King ‘shall accept’ advice. When the Pardons Board gave the advice, he had 2 accept. Tat advice clearly was to reduce the sentence. Simple as tat. So, stop spinning.

This is not the way to instil loyalty and respect to the constitutional monarch. In fact it unnecessarily creates the perception that you need sanctions before people will respect the institution.
