LSAC is adding an additional US test date for the 2018–2019 year. Test dates are:
• June 11, 2018
• July 23, 2018
• September 8, 2018
• November 17, 2018
• January 26, 2019
• March 30, 2019
• June 3, 2019
The July 23 test will be given only in North America.

Great news for December LSAT test takers—LSAC is releasing scores today! We heard our candidates’ requests for earlier scores at this time in the admission cycle, and our staff worked hard to make it happen. Happy holidays to everyone, and keep your passion for law.
Today’s LSAT session involved unacceptable delays and other problems for many test takers. We deeply regret these issues and apologize to those test takers who were affected. We are working with our proctoring vendor, Prometric, to identify and fix the issues.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, LSAC is introducing LSAT-Flex, an online, remotely proctored solution that will be offered to April registrants in the second half of May. Learn more at

, we’d like to recognize the exciting fact that there are more women learning law now then ever before. For the third year in a row, women have outnumbered men 52% to 48%, respectively. That’s something to be proud of.
Given the continued severe impact of the COVID-19 emergency in many areas and the uncertainty over how the situation will evolve, LSAC has made the decision to cancel the in-person June 8 LSAT, and provide a safe, remote testing alternative.
We have been updated about the potential strength of the looming Nor’easter. To ensure February LSAT scores are out by tomorrow as promised, we expect to start releasing scores at about 10:00 pm (ET) tonight, March 6. It will take a couple of hours for the emails to go out.
We're aware that some remote August LSAT test takers are experiencing delays connecting to a proctor and are working with Prometric to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Several big LSAT announcements today:
1) Given the expressed preference of test takers, we will continue to provide the LSAT in an online, live remote-proctored format through June 2022.
We will provide a free re-test opportunity for every affected test taker. Details will be announced by Tuesday. Again, we deeply regret these issues, and will work to address the needs of every affected test taker.

August LSAT test takers affected by the delays this weekend will have the option to retest or reschedule for a future test. If you opt for a retest in August, and have completed your LSAT Writing, your score will be released with all other August test takers.
We’re getting a few questions today about whether you can use scratch paper on the LSAT-Flex. The answer is yes – you are allowed five blank sheets of lined or unlined scratch paper. Good luck on the test!

test takers: LSAC is eliminating the LSAT late registration period, along with the LSAT late registration fee. Beginning with the February 2018 administration of the LSAT, there will be only one LSAT deadline and one LSAT registration fee for each administration.

To accommodate test takers who were affected by delay issues in the August LSAT administration, LSAC will open two retest dates on August 19 and August 20. In person and remote testing sessions will be available.

is May 1—less than a week away. But remember, for the first time ever, LSAC is offering the test in July! There’s still plenty of time to register for the July 23 test, which is a nondisclosed test.
September LSAT update: Due to increased demand, we are working to expand availability for in-person sessions at Prometric centers for the September LSAT. As a result we will be extending the deadline for scheduling an in-person session until Thursday, August 31.

It’s a landmark year for law schools: According to an ABA report released today, the incoming class of 2021 is the largest in nearly a decade — and the most racially diverse in history. Out of nearly 42,000 first-year students, 34.7% are students of color.
We have identified the technical issue affecting some October LSAT test takers and are working toward a prompt resolution. If you were affected by the outage, we will contact you regarding next steps.
Test takers scheduled to test later today or Saturday should continue to test at their scheduled times. We will work with every test taker who was affected earlier today to ensure that they are taken care of.

What does the new Digital LSAT mean for you? The structure of the test sections and questions will be the same as the paper-and-pencil LSAT, but delivered in a new digital format that enhances security, accessibility, and ease-of-use. Coming July 2019.
