The last time we played a Premier League match Queen Elisabeth was head of state, Boris Johnson was PM, Thomas Tuchel was Chelsea manager and the mortgage rate was 2%.
I see. So Liverpool and Man City supporters were asked to travel to Wembley with no trains, but a 50 mile trip in the South of Englands results in a match cancellation.
Harvey Elliott with some pyro after the cup final = media outcry
Richarlison running around with it during a match and throwing it into a crowd = silence
Imagine someone would have told you a year ago that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Freddie Ljungberg and Duncan Ferguson would be managing the Mancs, the Arse and the Blue Shite. This is the best football season ever.
Surely Taylor needs suspending. He’s cheating twice. Blows the whistle for no reason to prevent Liverpool scoring and then encourages the keeper to fake an injury to cover it up.
So Anthony Taylor never gave a free kick here. Gakpo is about to score and he blows the whistle?? Then knows he has messed up so he starts signalling to the physio for the keeper 🤦🏻♂️
Incompetent corrupt fools in charge of our game!

Oh why do these Scousers support the England women’s team all of a sudden ?
Maybe because of no right wing twats, no war songs, no Hillsborough references, no anti Scouse and poverty songs, not smashing town centres we value going to for euro aways.
If criticising the team is ok then it’s also fair to raise the question why 3000 Liverpool away supporters consistently create a better atmosphere than 50000 at Anfield.
Sorry but if the hosting club and police can only guarantee for the safety of supporters if they turn up 5 hours before kick off to a meeting point four miles from the ground then this team should not be allowed to host home games.
The Kop should be this size and the biggest stand in the ground. I know it’s difficult for many reasons and the financial payback isn’t great in the short term, but the club needs to have a vision and think decades ahead.
🎶 We’ve been to Porto and Atlético
And twice the San Siro
and then we went to Portugal
a country we all know
Back to rainy Spain again
A place we like to be
Cos we’re the mighty Liverpool
We’re goin to Par-ee
On a positive note - thanks to mobile phones the truth cannot be swept under the carpet this time. And lots of journalists doing a good job here - both in the UK and dare I say it in France

If your house is burgled or your daughter is approached by a paedophile there are no police resources to deal with it but there are hundreds of them standing around at a train station watching football supporters entering a train.
Disappointing that totally unnecessary stadium announcement after 37 minutes or so after having to listen to the usual Hillsborough chants throughout the match.
Liverpool Football Club - competing for the Champions League, the FA Cup and a respectable League position - this season is definitely not over. Let’s support the Red men home and away. Come on you Reds!
Gonna get slaughtered for this but a 2% ticket price increase after several years of cost freeze and with inflation being 10%+ does not seem unreasonable.
If the club were to buy as many of these tickets as possible, cancel their ST and membership, this would have so much more impact on ticket touting than all these measures to inconvene the normal member.
@BlackYellow
Embarrassing small club attitude. Could you imagine Liverpool or any Premier league twitter account posting this? It’s like Liverpool posting something about Barcelona winning a trophy just because Suarez played for us years ago.
Just remembered how we tried to save children’s lives by lifting them outside of the tight spaces whilst being tear gassed by French Police. Will never forget that.
So I believe it’s confirmed the club has reduced Real’s allocation as well. Well done to LFC to show some balls. Know this will impact some proper Real fans unfortunately but we need to take a stand.
@MufcWonItAll
Imagine the new CEO of your club agrees to meet you in a pub to talk straight about issues, but you rather decide to record it secretly to put it on social media for a few likes.
Only Liverpool will print out a QR code, make you pick up the piece of paper in the middle of nowhere and let you wait for more than an hour in a queue to do so
🎟️ Ahead of today’s Champions League draw, we would like to remind fans that we will continue with ticket collections for all European away games. A fan forum is planned tomorrow to shape this process and we will provide full details on the ticket selling notice for each game.
People who rather want Liverpool to finish 8th and not qualify for Europe can fuck off.
a) it’s disrespecting some great European football competitions
b) the purpose of LFC is to win trophies
I am in the Annie Rd for Europa League games. If anyone ever asks me to sit down I will show them my printed out version of the Safe Standing Certificate 😆

To decide a cup match which has ended in a draw. Important source of income for lower league clubs and shouldn’t be stoped just because Klopp and Guardiola don’t like replays.
Anna Rothery, Lord Mayor of Liverpool (a ceremonial position), is apparently considering a run for Mayor of Liverpool with the *Northern Independence Party* which seeks an independent Northumbria.
Rothery would be their highest-profile candidate so far I think. h/t

Good initiative in principle and please tell me if I am completely biased here, but my honest estimate would be
United supporters singing about Hillsborough - 5,000 to 8,000 at Old Trafford
Liverpool fans singing about Munich - 5 to 10
Liverpool FC manager Jürgen Klopp and Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag have called for an end to 'tragedy chanting' in football, ahead of Sunday's Premier League match at Anfield.
There is quite a few things I don’t like about modern football. But a match kicking off at lunch time on Christmas Eve is prob the least of my worries.
Due to my tweet and it’s massive national and global attention, Main Stream Media was no longer in a position to keep silent on this topic. Thank you to everyone who read and interacted, in particular the many Everton supporters who raised their opinions and well balanced views.
Whilst I was in favour of abolishing the away goal rule, this is what made it special. Bang - goal - Game over ! And even better to do it at Old Trafford. What a night!
