just need to save enough for a monitor now,
this weekend finally started working on some side projects again and using bun this time and brooo it's really fast!, especially the time it takes to install packages is just insane
did my first internship
started working at push
got multiple remote offers as a freshman
made my first 7 digits
won multiple hackathons
went to jaipur and bangalore by myself for events
gave some talks as a speaker
moved to canada for bachelors
won $80k worth of scholarship
If you're not sharing what you're building here then you're losing so much
I have received 4 offers this year all from twitter and one of them was 3 times of M8rosoft IN's base pay and that too for someone who's is first year
keep building and share it on twitter, it helps a lot
Some motivation for all my builder friends who just keeps talking about
#buildinginpublic
and not actually ship anything😀
Tag someone who actually needs to hear this
have no idea why you guys are paying 1000s of rupees to these people on topmate, there are many less popular but awesome folks that takes it for free! + there is a website which basically let's you book calls with top notch folks like graduates from MIT
link below! (don't misuse)

Got another summer internship offer from a big tech company in my city, this role will be of junior full stack developer and that too hybrid!!!
I actually manifested of working at this company for a really long time
now have to choose between 2 lol
international students here are really distracted
they hardly study
they hardly know what they are studying
their main focus in part time jobs
really sad to see this
hopefully will be able to bring some change
Don’t ever ask anyone if college matters for getting internships or jobs
It doesn’t
I had 2 full time remote offers and 3 intern offers before joining college
Just stop blaming and start doing, that’s the only way to achieve it
P.s. this is my pov
Remember this ?
So we decided to work on it further,
We got into Microsoft startup founder program
Today we got into one of the biggest student accelerator in Canada and now we might go to Toronto for the summer to work from there!!!
I started to code back in march 2022 and that too directly by participating in a hackathon, i used to travel 2 hrs back and forth to borrow my sister’s laptop since I didn’t have my own
I bought my first 💻 in June 2022 after winning around 5-6 hackathons
So just get started!
It’s live,
A decentralized platform to meet your future hackathon teammate, a promising hire or your future partner👀
Have used
@dynamic_xyz
to implement an easier way to onboard using web2 social(GitHub) and
@pushprotocol
for end-to-end encrypted chat.

Got in for the next round for an international internship offer,
last time I was in the last round for an sde intern role at a US based company and my laptop froze🤡 hopefully it shouldn't happen again 🤞
this week just got better
now I have offers from 2 awesome international companies to join them for summer that too remote still a bit confused on which one to go with but really fortunate that I am able to get these opportunities rn
I saw a guy paying 30,000 rupees to learn 5 languages i.e. HTML, CSS(ik these 2 are not lang), JS, C++, Java.
currently he's regretting that decision but he took that because he was not at a CS major student.
I never paid a single penny to learn anything, here's how I did it🧵
yeah turn this as well into a competition, like literally all you do is write threads on twitter have 0 contribution on github and asking everyone to nominate you by populating this msg, by what means ?
I don't like controversy but this is not healthy
2 days left to start my first onsite internship here in Canada
Really excited for it since I have been working remotely for 1.5 years now
gotta get a haircut tomorrow so that I don’t like a homeless on the very first day lol
I’ll be getting a work laptop too on the same day!!🥹
recently came across a video where an indian influencer was talking about how he rejected microsoft because they ask dsa and MSFT called him multiple times to ask him to join as if he was Sam Altman himself
and now today saw another video of him saying don't do web3

moved in today to live on campus and brooo it's just amazinggg!,
I was actually living with 5 people earlier so now having a personal room seems like a real big deal and the other roommate is really cool too
let's get back to work now!
Just uploaded another video on YouTube and this time it’s about my journey of hackathons at University of Toronto and 24hr startup hackathon that happened within a week
We won $9000 in total so check it out!

Day1
- worked.
- attended code together roundtable where we discussed about JSDoc vs TS and even about Bun.
- did some some advertisement for our club by having a table in the hallway with some goodies
- started the 24 hr business challenge
We won another hackathon this weekend 🚀✨🫡
It’s so fun doing hackathons from our dorm lounge, we play pool, table tennis in between, we work, we go on side adventures within the campus
Weekends are never dull when I’m with these people and doing what I love the most
When I landed in canada on the 2nd day itself a senior person from the university told me that you made a huge mistake coming here
but I heard this in a movie "people will tell you, can't do something just because they couldn't do it" and that's a fact
Just my p.o.v.:
you don't need a course to get an internship or job like I haven't spent a single rupee till date, I learned by doing, by contributing to OS projects and building projects in hackathons and got 1 full time and 2 remote intern offers
don't run after these courses
I left my last job after working for an entire year
I joined them as an intern just with my high school degree and with the help of some amazingly talented people I learned a lot
here are few things that I would like to share from my experience working at a web3 startup
1/n
Starting this series of things I’ve built
Was going to post mainly on insta but hey why not try X too😂
Btw you can follow me on insta on @ thehackathonguy
And this project was like my first working one that I built by myself
Life taught me early on that Everything happens for a reason so never be sad about it just trust the process
As Krishna said: Do your duty without thinking about results
At the end he takes care of it
Tired of seeing upgrade your medium or other bloging website's account in order to read the entire blog ?

We are looking for a full stack web developer intern so dm me if you're interested in applying, will give you a referral !
.
.
(no need to follow for it, will check the msg requests 😂)
last night was fun for real
networked with a lot of people from different faculties, learned a lot from their perspective and now I'm planning to take a minor in business from next sem😂
Railway decided to stop their free tier so all my side projects stopped working now so need help,
any idea of some free platform that doesn't require a credit card where we can host our backend ?
Just uploaded a vlog where I have documented my last hackathon where I went to university of Alberta from university of Regina
Have shared some tips too which helped me to win 20+ hackathons in a span of 1.5 years so do check it out!
Link below!
Things I have built part-2
A web based online multiplayer game using socketIo and
@threejs
It’s completely open source so you can check it out on my GitHub profile!
Last year I was quite alone on my b'day like no one even remembered it not even people in my family but this time got 100+ msgs, comments on every platform especially on twitter and really grateful for that 😊
Thanks to everyone !
Things I have built part-3
This game was built in 2022 when I was just getting started with ThreeJs and nextjs in general
It’s open source too so you can check it out on my GitHub
Next will be making videos on tensorflowjs which is really cool so stay tuned for it!
Happy to share that I will be joining
@pushprotocol
as an intern starting from tomorrow !
really lucky to get these offers and all thanks to
@pritisinghhhh
without her my life was like Mukesh from tobacco ad in theaters🫡
Thank you for this awesome opportunity
@zaryab_eth
🫡
@Ayush3241
I’m not really sure how this works but have never heard someone getting hired by showing their leetcode profile, leetcode is just a platform to practice dsa
Just focus on your project and skills that will help you more then doing this
Hope you take this in a good way :)
I got another coop/intern opportunity for the fall!!!
And that too will be working with some people that I’ve been looking up to way before I moved to Canada
Manifesting works for real!
So just had the talk with my manager and I have got the offer officially to extend my internship !🤓
ngl it's quite fun working there, the people that I work with are just awesome !
.
@MLHacks
helped us to get many folks in tech from our university, most of them never participated in hackathons but with the help of their pizza fund we were able to organize 2 in-person events and many folks started participating & building stuffs
now got this email let's see🤞
My Nephew studies in Ryan International School, they're still teaching them to write HTML in Notepad like why are you complicating the easy stuffs ?
how does that even makes sense right now ?
Keep your eyes Hydrated.
I have started using it after watching a video from
@kirat_tw
. Realized how important it is. Highly recommend if you sit for long hours.
