@bshelburne @SchlFinance101 They are letting go of nearly free slave labor. Discussed this in my class Urban Public Policy class… the explosion of rural and for-profit prisons serves as a source of cheap labor for corporations that donate to massive dollars in advocacy FOR the carceral state.

@TheTrialsofMAP True. It was not fun. But gotta keep the big picture in mind. Every team in the league went through moments just like this. SF lost 3 in a row… bounced back. We had a tough stretch of games, and now we have the easiest 5 game stretch in the NFL. We good🦅

@BreeNewsome Not sure whether Black folks who enlisted were doing so out of an “affinity for US imperialism”… in fact I doubt that pretty seriously. Feeling stuck or trapped and void of opportunity likely explains it… going back to WWI.
