Usually we're faded to black but China's ban of @BBCWorld , on grounds of falsified reporting on #Xinjiang & #COVID19 , seems more permanent. It comes a week after @Ofcom withdrew @CGTNOfficial , China's state broadcaster's right to air in the UK because of its links with Beijing.

It's always a treat & I really appreciate hearing my name read out perfectly by the brilliant @bbcone #continuity announcers. I never changed my name to an English one though Kasia is Polish for Kate. I've anglicised the pronunciation & this is how I say it when speaking English.
