Delta Air Lines announces an order for 20 Airbus A350-1000s.

Air India appears to be preparing to add three new U.S. destinations:

Delta Air Lines plans to introduce a “daytime” New York (JFK) to Paris (CDG) flight starting March 31, 2024:
- DL266 Depart JFK 8:30 AM Arrive CDG 10:00 PM (Daily)
DL266 is operated with the Boeing 767-400ER. This should be Delta’s only “daytime” eastbound transatlantic flight.
Delta Air Lines will begin flying a daily Airbus A350-900 from Atlanta (ATL) to Las Vegas (LAS) from December 7:
• DL777 Depart ATL 8:30 AM Arrive LAS 9:56 AM
• DL777 Depart LAS 11:16 AM Arrive ATL 6:00 PM

NEW: Norse Atlantic Airways will launch flights to Las Vegas (LAS).
Norse will begin a new route from London (LGW) to LAS starting September 12 with 3x weekly flights:
• Z0 777 Depart LGW 12:00 PM Arrive LAS 2:40 PM
• Z0 778 Depart LAS 4:45 PM Arrive LGW 10:35 AM (next day)
Southwest Airlines announces it will discontinue 4 destinations:
• Bellingham (BLI)
• Cozumel (CZM)
• Syracuse (SYR)
• Houston Intercontinental (IAH)
The last flights will be on August 4. Southwest cites Boeing delivery delays and network optimization for these closures.
Delta Air Lines will begin flying its Airbus A330 to Cincinnati (CVG).
The airline’s Paris (CDG) to CVG route will swap from the Boeing 767 to the A330-200 starting October 31.
From January 10, 2024, it’ll switch to the larger A330-300.
NEW: United Airlines adds more Canada routes:
• Denver (DEN) to Winnipeg (YWG)
• Chicago (ORD) to Winnipeg (YWG)
• Chicago (ORD) to Quebec City (YQB)
Flights begin May 23 with a daily E170/175. These should be resumptions from pre-COVID and marks United’s return to Winnipeg.
SKY Airline confirms it intends to launch nonstop flights between Chile and the United States.
The carrier plans to use its upcoming Airbus A321XLRs for these flights.
A potential route could be Santiago (SCL) to Miami (MIA), which has been hinted at over the past years.
