I highly dislike this whole cheating drama. I don't believe any 'entitled' players or entities can attack in such a way any player unless proven guilty. It reminds me a lot about the case of Mihaela Sandu at the EIWCC in 2015. I hope Hans will handle it better.

People supporting war are one thing, but what shocks me are the ones who say "Why this war should be different than the ones in Yugoslavia or Libya, etc- why the aggressor is sanctioned in this case and in the others not?" 1/2

I miss terribly @GibraltarChess these days. It's not only that it's that time of the year, but also seeing so many women playing well vs male, higher rated opponents I remind myself once again how important it is to participate in strong open events. Gibraltar was my favourite.

How is sports supposed to be out of politics when some players participate both in the Karjakin propaganda tournaments and then in @FIDE_chess tournaments? Moreover- players, locations, schedules are moved specifically to accommodate them? My bad, let's continue ignoring it...

How is it possible to play chess vs war supporters in an official World #chess Championship is beyond my understanding. Chess really is outside politics it seems, despite people's homes, chess clubs, hospitals, loved ones and lives are destroyed. Sad.

@nigelshortchess #womeninchess I think it would be nice if members of each federation would have to participate in seminars about the problems women face in chess. I am tired of always being asked- "Why should there be prizes/tournaments for women?". Some education on this matter is needed.
