In 2022, @ProfIsaPantami , on behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari, commissioned the Gombe-Kumo-Billiri-Kaltungo road that links the three states of Gombe, Adamawa and Taraba in the north east. The road is now used by travellers on daily basis.

The Dadinkowa dam in Gombe which was completed in December 2020 would provide 40 megawatts of electricity and vast hectares of land for irrigation purposes. The dam has a reservoir capacity of 2.8 billion cubic meters,including a live storage capacity of 1.7 billion cubic meters.
