🚆 Freight trains hit Rajdhani speed ! On new Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor ( Khurja - Bhaupur section ) a freight train averaged a speed of 99.4 kmph - faster than the avg speed of Rajdhanis. Was possible as there is no line congestion & no curvature > 2.5 degrees. Great.

🛩 Domestic aviation has come a long way in terms of linking Tier 2/3 cities. Was able to fly directly from NCR ( Hindon Airport, Ghaziabad ) to Hubli in Karnataka. STAR Air - 50 seater Embraer jet . Seemed the right economic choice of aircraft for this route & load factor.
