my partner and i have both been exposed to people who have tested positive this week and I'm still receiving multiple emails a day about my student loan payments restarting, but I'm glad we finally have an administration that Believes Science™ and has its priorities straight :)

The student loan pause ends in a few weeks. It was one of the reasons I was able to quit bartending and take a $20k/yr pay cut for a FT job in journalism. As a Pell grant recipient, I went from thinking I’d be debt-free to preparing for the same payments on a much lower salary.

In 2020, taxpayers gave more money to Lockheed Martin than the Dept. of Ed. Our elected officials believe that $1.7 trillion for Lockheed's F-35 fighter jet is a worthwhile investment, but $1.7 trillion in student debt relief is just a step too far.
