Well Half Acres has said an emotional goodbye and good luck to Mr Burns who today celebrates his retirement! After 17 years he hangs up his boots and his alarms are off. We wish him all the best and hope to see him soon! 🟠⚫️🟠⚫️👏

🔴 Remembrance Sunday 🔴 We wish to share with you part of our beautiful service from 11.11.22, in which children from each class showed the upmost respect whilst laying poppy wreaths. Every child was respectful and quiet as we stood together to remember those who has fallen.
Today all Half Acres children gathered together to celebrate Remembrance Day, they showed respect throughout and created some beautiful poppy wreaths to remember those who died in the war. Video to follow.
Today we said a heartfelt good luck and good bye to Mrs Clarke. We are so lucky to have worked and be taught by such a considerate and passionate teacher. You will be sorely missed but we are equally excited as you begin the next part of your journey.

Brilliant effort with the bake sale! We have had so many happy customers but we do have more to sell tomorrow. We would like to invite children and families to bring any additional donations to school tomorrow and we let children buy further during the school day.
Staff at Half Acres are saddened to hear the news of Sir Captain Tom Moore’s passing. MP M Kane said ‘Some people are born great, some people achieve greatness & some have greatness thrust upon them, & I think Sir Tom was probably all three’ A true hero 🌈
Choir had such an amazing time singing at Asda this morning. Thank you to our crowd of shoppers and to the lady that so kindly gifted a chocolate Santa to all the children .
