@IGN recreating every major event in a show with a THOUSAND episodes seems...ambitious

@IGN Not being familiar with the anime, I found the protagonist highly engaging because he is, god forbid, an optimist (!) who actually smiles. I am done with the brooding angst ridden heroes. When James Bond and Captain America are afflicted miserable sots, Luffy is refreshing.

@IGN As a big One Piece fan I get the criticism honestly. A lot of the 1:1 moments look really bad in live action and a lot of the changes to streamline the story and have character threads run through the season were done well. I wish we could have gotten Loguetown and not rushed…
